About This Project

In the Automotive products thermoforming field, it is often necessary to use “soft” materials which are wound on coil,instead of being shaped as sheet.

For this reason it has been developed this machine version where material is feeding out from a reel and special unloading automatism is installed.

Based on the standard single-station model, the machine has been equipped with two additional components:

Reel unwinder, powered and controlled with motor
Gripper system, with grippers mounted on a motor carriage capable to take the thermoformed part out from the forming zone, to cut the material in the wide direction, and to unload it from the machine.
This way the thermoforming machine is continuously working and can assure high output rates, though reducing the need for a continuous surveillance of the machine by the operator during the production process
